When I turn 65, how do employer and military health benefits work with Medicare Plans?

These days many of us are still working when turn 65. Also, you may have benefits from your military service. We encourage everyone turning 65 to make an appointment so we can review your benefits. Sometimes the Medicare plan benefits can be better for you or they can work with your employer or military coverage. We will do a full review of all your options and offer suggestions on what coverage will best fit your needs.

Is there a best time to enroll or make changes to my health insurance plan?

The time to enroll or modify your health insurance plan is during the Annual Enrollment period from October 15th to December 7th. Depending on what plan you choose, you can also make a one-time plan change in January through the end of March. Also, certain life events such as marriage, relocation, or an income change can qualify you for a Special Enrollment Period allowing you to make necessary changes outside of the typical enrollment times. Our team can help determine if you qualify for these exceptions and assist with the enrollment process.
